Common cat names

Who doesn't love cats? Well, there are some people. But we, the cat lovers, love to think of popular cat names once we get a new one.

We always want to believe that the name we give them will define its personality and identity. Or is it the other way round?

Maybe the first thing that comes to our minds when we think of a cat is ‘affectionate'. If that's the case with your cat, you may want to name it Angel, Joy or Cuddles. And maybe a fellow with a little bit more personality would prefer Foxy or Woffer. Also, Buster or Puff are common ones.

Yes, there may be personality in there, or maybe it's just the cartoonish behavior they show. Those are the own that beg for Scooby, Mickey or Homer names.

And what about the great history characters? You may want to consider Zeus, Caesar, Plato, Dante, Elvis, Mozart, or even Rodman!

How would a title suit them? How about King, Princess or the extravagant Czar?

But, let's admit it, not everyone would understand your pet's name or origin. Maybe we should just settle for a regular food name such as Peanut, Cookie or Sushi. And since we're talking about food, why not moving on to nature? Blossom, Bear.

Some people even names their cats after popular geographical places; the most common: Paris, Sidney and Dakota.

And who said the style should be different from the fashion? Versace, Calvin, Valentino!

The most exotic of the popular cat names could be the foreign ones such as Sacha, Fleur or Fritz. And maybe even more the religious choices like Sheba , Buddha and Zen.

Uf, this a hard decision to make. Maybe we should go back to basics. What about a regular plain human name? Max, Jessie, Molly or Jake.

Or perhaps we should step on the land of the wise. Why not Beethoven, Radar or Lassie?
